演習には約３０万人の兵士が動員され、装甲車、ヘリコプター、航空機、無人航空機が計１万機ほど参加した。陸軍と海軍の連携が確認されたほか、指揮官と司令部は軍事行動中の部隊の指揮統制を訓練した。
ロシアのショイグ国防相は、大規模軍事演習が５年毎に行われていくと明らかにした。
