フィリピンを襲った大型台風22号により少なくとも75人が死亡し、さらに30万人が避難を余儀なくされた。BBCが報じた。
インクワイアラー紙によれば、台風により送電線が破壊されたことで、いくつかの州で停電が発生、水道がストップしている。

CNNフィリピンの報道によれば、同国気象庁は、台風22号はフィリピンを通過し、時速240キロで北西に移動していると発表した。
同国のカラヤン諸島では36時間にわたり強風が続いている。
