スロバキア、米国からF-16戦闘機１４機購入へ【写真】

スロバキア政府は１１日、同国の空軍が運用しているミグ29戦闘機の置き換えとして、米国からF-16 ブロック 70/72戦闘機１４機を購入することを決定した。スロバキア国防相が記者団に明らかにした。

なおスロバキア(２００４年からNATO及びEU加盟国)と米国は、購入額を発表しないことで合意したが、先にスロバキアのマスコミは、１０億以上の可能性があると報じた。

F-16戦闘機は米空軍で１９７８年から運用されているほか、インド、パキスタン、ベルギー、ポーランド、ノルウェー、ルーマニアなどでも使用されている。
