中国、宇宙ステーションの基本機能モジュールの模型を披露【写真】

モジュールは全長１７メートルで、中国航天科技集団公司（CASC）のブースに展示されている。

「天宮」は、基本機能モジュール１つと実験モジュール２つの計３つのモジュールで構成される。１つのモジュールの重さは約２０トン。

基本機能モジュールは、２０１９年に文昌衛星発射場から打ち上げられる予定。続いて、基本モジュールに２つの実験モジュールが接続する。

「天宮」は２０２２年の運用開始を目指しており、運用期間は少なくとも１０年になる見込み。

中国は、「天宮」を多国間協力や様々な国際研究プロジェクトのために使用することを約束している。
