フルスタリョフ氏は、続いて興味深かったのは弾道ミサイルで、遠くから見るとスカッド（SCUD）を刷新したもののように見えると指摘している。フルスタリョフ氏はパレードに出てきたミサイルにはミサイルの軌道を修正することができ、これによって精度が上がり、ミサイルがＭＤを潜り抜けるチャンスを拡大する最新のシステムが装備されているのではないかと予想している。
