ホワイトハウス内で１番大きなツリーは米国の各州および米国に属する領土をガラス細工で表したオーナメントで飾られた。この他に大統領官邸を模り、１３５キロものジンジャーブレッド生地からできた特大ホワイトハウスが目を引く。クリスマス・シーズン中、メラニア夫人は１００ものイベントをホワイトハウス内で公のために催し、２万５千人がこれに参加する。
