ブラジルのミナス・ジェライス州で発生したダム決壊事故の死者が１７９人となった。テレビ局テレスールが、ミナス・ジェライス州の民間防衛隊の情報をもとに伝えた。

１月２５日、ミナス・ジェライス州ブルマジーニョで資源開発大手バーレが所有するダムが決壊、バーレ社のオフィスや住宅が濁流に襲われた。現在も捜索・救助活動が続けられている。

テレスールによると、現時点で１３１人が行方不明となっている。
