インド北東部で軍の輸送車が崖から転落し、16人の兵士が死亡した。印紙ヒンディスタン・タイムズが軍の発表を引用して報じた。
報道によると、4人がこの事故を生き延びて病院に搬送された。事故は北東部のシッキム州で発生し、16人が死亡した。

インドのモディ首相はこの悲惨な事故を受け、犠牲者の遺族らに哀悼の意を表した。首相はツイッターに投稿し、「我らが勇敢な兵士らの死を受け、心を痛めている」と記した。
